In compliance with the provisions of Law No. 17 dated 28 January 1999 and Law No. 170 dated 8 October 2010, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore has established a Support Service for Students with Disabilities and Students with Specific Learning Disorders.
The aim of this service is to improve the quality of the social and cultural integration of all disabled students and of all students with Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) enrolled at the University and to break down the barriers to their academic success by identifying, when necessary, specific exam methods in compliance with with no prejudice to the equivalence of the tests.

The service is coordinated by the Rector’s Delegate Prof. Luigi D'Alonzo.

To whom it is available

The Service offers concrete help to all students in need of support, regardless of any tax exemption status (with a certified minimum of 66% disability). Thus, it is also possible to request the use of the Service with a diagnosis of a lesser degree of invalidity or with a temporary disability (due to surgery accident etc.) provided that updated documentation can be submitted by the student making the request.
